Big Lad was imported from Ireland where he was a man's hunter and hunted all big country up front. Since being here he has settled in lovely to Allrounder routine.

He hacks well would say he has previously only hacked in company so he is better in company but we’ve done lots of hacking alone improving his confidence all the time, He was just slightly more on edge alone no naughty or nappy.

His a lovely forward not sharp ride schools very well for his size and correctly.

Wants to please you doesn’t want to be in Trouble. 

Lovely to be around great to handle.

His a big softy I’d say slightly more on sensitive side rather than big and rude horse.

So a nice best friend who builds up a relationship with him would be lovely. 

I’m sure he would hunt again but think he would be a strong upfront thruster type.

We ride him in a snaffle but he gets leany at times think it’s more his size than speed.

Have jumped him at home over SHOWJUMPS also really sweetly.

Does have a scar in his hoof which he must have done in Ireland at some point this is reflected in price.

Clear of his wind. 

Would make a great police horse but also a lovely Allrounder.
